Bring on spring!

I love the fact that spring is coming! But I'm the most apprehensive I've ever been to tackle the new season. I'm in a total transition in alot of areas of my life and I'm feeling uneasy already. But too add on to that I have to get myself into shorts skirts and scarier still swimmers! I'm needing some inspiration....Join with me in a walk through some style history.......

Love Elisa Deshku's Ol School Bring it on cute Rocker makeup. Super Gloss cherry lips and well shaded eyeshadow in a pretty shades of neutrals and pink on lids. Later they toned down the lips only to add a signature reflective blue highlight on the brow bone swept down onto the cheek in a c (not so sublte). Now considered very taboo but was all the rage when Red Earth was booming as a major competitor of Body Shop.

Shout with me Awesome, oh wow! Like, totally freak me out! I mean, right on! The Toros sure are number one!
Elisa as missy [cheering] I transferred from Los Angeles, your school has no gymnastics team, this is a last resort!
[back to normal tone] OK, so I never cheered before. So what? What about doing something that actually requires neurons.

I'm so tired of the current trend of Uber Natural that has scared women to be so mild with makeup. Its brown brown brown taupe and if your lucky pink. But only as a feature. I think some of me wants to do something fun and adventurous. Because thats what you do when your young. You wear colour! Well I'm now daring you to get up and try a colour on all that nude makeup! Turquoise eyeliner will go great with your bronzed face. Or slightly more coloured lips. Fun sparkles on the eye in a metal colour silver is Super chic on brunettes and Dark haired girls while gold is the same on fair skined or pink skined girls of any coloured hair. It the new neutral Ray Morris says in her make up book! I'm convinced when you see her proof pics.

Heres a fun look that I saw on Jlo a while back which was and continues to be a winner:

Gold eyes with silver highlighs and a lip gloss one to two shades darker than her natural lip colour in a Brick red tone. Just screams fun. So whatever colour you like add it to your make up to liven up you end of winter! Let your makeup say "Bring on spring early!"

Shoes

I got these shoes for $19.95 from Spendless Shoes but is it worth it to have bunions one day??? Whats the deal with Ladies and their fascination with beauty over everything? I DONT wear killer heals cause its just cruel. But even these seem high compared to the flats i've grown accustomed to.
And whats with the supply and demand thing! If people didn't buy these podiatrists nightmares then they might have them working on making the Comfy as some label "frumpy" shoes cute. Instead of how much less sole can we put in these flats to save material costs? (yes "Ballet" shoes I'm talking about you!)

But then I thought about it what is cute? Pointed toe? well we don't have points at the ends of our feet why do we insist on starting/continuing a new/our version of foot binding tradition? Don't you know that you get old and you really need you feet to function for 70 odd
years!
You see heels seriously strain your muscles all over your body putting force on back muscles beyond what they are capable of enduring. Let alone the bunion thing which I will try to explain to the naive out there. (No you don't just wear heels, hurt your feet and then get over it) constant pressure on the big toe to push in toward the other toes trains the ball of the foot to push further and further out ward to take all the strain that its ment to be on the big toe plus some. Don't believe me that your heels might not be an all the time thing? Look at my photo.
Its hard to believe that such a painful reality it self inflicted. I think after all this t
hought and the only conclusion is so called frumpy shoes will have you dancing longer in life so who cares what you wear as long as you don't end up really paying for it in the long run.

Loving Kaboodle!

I'm Loving my new "add to Kaboodle" button on my toolbar. I've been using kaboodle for a while now but only at american Items so now I'm adding my own things for AU conversion! LOL

I'm so excited because I've made a mistake lately that cost me some freedom. I purchased this tall boy from Ikea Hemnes range and the next day purchased a bedroom 4 Pce Suite range for less that the one tall boy in Teak stain. Well, Not matching I took the Ikea tall boy back but alas I had lost my receipt but that now makes it MANDITORY that I spend at a home decorating store. So its kind of loose freedom (as in the furniture store, Lol) but gain the ability to spend to the hills with out the partner breaking a sweat everytime I pick up another item in the laborinth called IKEA.

WEll that brings me to Kaboodle and their add to kaboodle button..... I'm Making digital style boards that a decorator would with out the mess of physically doing one (would not happen).
I go to the shop that i would like some thought about which item to buy for the room and I add all the contending items then I can make a Style board in a suedo room to resemble where it might go.

Its so clarifying for the whole look of the colours to sit next to each other in my suedo room that I picked added a picture of. I did some dark woodern floors that I added to my kaboodle. Then i just layered on top rug(that i'm thinking about with a few to switch between), Couch that i have, Tv that i want, A model that has my hair and skin colour wearing a nice outfit I would like to get(sort of ment to me), Curtains from Ikea that i find beautiful (Merete in Beige).

So basically if your store has pictures on the website you can add it to a list to remember compare and even asks if you would like to be linked to the store to buy the item. ALL while siting on your computer chair. What a great time we live in!
