Summer in July???

Hey,
Well the AU conversion is coming into play here! I'm seeing a lot of fake tan recommendations but its the dead of winter here reaching the top of 19degrees c in my house after lots of heating. So really cold.
But cause I'm seeing alot of talk about tanners I went off and rediscovered my self tanning lotions to get myself out of that winter funk you can get in.
Oftern we cover up so heavily then when summer comes around its a big shock on the OH I have to get into shorter clothes! eek!

But Not this year I'm going to do gradual ease back into spring/summer while keeping myself hydrated with more lotion ones. So recommendations:
Gradual tanners:
: ( Johnsons holiday skin - Used it but the smell made me switch to Dove, I think it was too streaky when i applied it but might have been something I'd done. I havn't used this since last summer or the one before that.
: ) Loreal NutriSummer Face- I've used this and it is really gradual and nice moisturizing. Great for building it up everyday into a faint glow. Definitely not going to give you that deep bronze ever I think.
:I Dove Summer Boday- I like this one and use it but I have found it went streaky
:D Clinique Self sun Body Daily Moisturizer - Love this beautiful smell perfect for deep moisture in winter hehehe.
:I Dove Summer Glow Daily Facial Moisturizer- Great clear application with a mild gradual tan but I suspect it is too oily for my skin and caused alot of breakouts.

Instant full strength tanners: always be diligent to use glove or applicator

:( Ambre Solaire No streaks Spray Tan - REALLY strong alcohol on the skin, I often came up in sore spots on the lovehandles(must be sensitive their). But really great for application.
:I Fake Bake- really enjoyed this one in the mouse. I found it not moisturizing though for those dry skinned out there.
:( BYS Island Bronze Pro Tanning lotion - Bad streaking with this one. If you leave a line you'll never know cause its applies clear. Will leave you read faced with some of the lines it shows up! I'm mixing it in with my other Clinique Self SUn to get some use out of it with out the risk.

Over all I have to find a full strength tanner for summer that isn't in salon:

BTW here are the tried and tested salons:
:D Leigh Bird Greenslopes, Tuscan Tan- Love it does it for cheap, but a lady sprays it on you so you have to be up for a bit of an up close and personal treatment.
:D

Future trying may involve:
http://www.perfectiontanningstudios.com.au/ boast a $25 spray tan in clayfield, brisbane AU

Tantric (Stand up, Lay Down & spray on): Often have summer specials on their spray on tan booths 'Magic Tan' LOVE this one I got really addicted to it for some time since the early 2004. Level 1, 202 Elizabeth st, Brisbane CBD.

St Tropez Still havn't tried this.... :S cant believe it. But the price makes me believe it!
Cant remember if i've used thee Tan Line range....I feel like I have it its good..... OH I did and I loved it BUT $30 and it ran out after 2 applications....Only good for a one off event I'd say
Jungle Bronze I'm so temped everytime I see it but.... Bit scary to look like a wild animal.LOL
Elle Mcpherson the body
Xen-Tan- which is flooding the market at the moment. Will it be good Who knows.

Not going to try Model Co, Bloom (saw a bad review on these which were so scary I'm too worried to try them)

Well Hoping that your own effort dont end up orange or streaky but if they do trying tanners in winter always have the advantage of being easily and most likely covered up.
